Scope of Application
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers on the website www.gdetou.com. Any person using this service for personal, non-professional use is considered a consumer. Professionals are invited to contact G. Detou directly to benefit from specific conditions via the pro access. Every order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Contractual Partner and Conclusion of the Contract
The contract is concluded with G. Detou, whose legal details are in the legal notice at the bottom of the site. Products listed online are not a legally binding offer but an invitation to order. The order becomes final upon receipt of the confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order, especially in cases of previous non-payment or suspicion of fraud.
Ordering Process and Corrections
The customer selects the products they wish to buy and adds them to the cart. The content can be modified at any time. Before final validation, a summary allows checking the information entered (address, cart content, choice of carrier, payment method). Acceptance of the T&Cs and payment confirmation finalize the order. Any errors can be corrected before this final step.
Language and Contract Archiving
The contract is established in French. After ordering, a confirmation email including a summary of the contractual elements is sent to the customer. Order details are not viewable online later but remain securely archived in our systems.
Delivery
Shipping costs are calculated based on weight, volume, and destination. Orders are shipped within 2 to 5 business days, unless otherwise stated. The customer receives a tracking link upon shipping. Store pickup and delivery to pickup points are also offered. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of their delivery address.
Payment
Payments are due immediately upon ordering. We accept credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), Google Pay, Apple Pay, as well as bank transfers upon request. Order processing begins after payment confirmation. In case of failure or rejection, the order is automatically cancelled.
Retention of Title
Products remains the property of G. Detou until full payment of the price, including costs and taxes. In the event of a dispute or non-payment, we reserve the right to reclaim the unpaid products.
Right of Withdrawal
The customer has a legal period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify their decision. This period runs from the receipt of the products. Returned products must be intact, unopened, and in their original packaging. The right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable or opened goods, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code. Reimbursement is made within 14 days after receipt of the returned products.
Damaged Products
If a package is delivered damaged, we advise you to refuse it or note a specific reservation on the delivery slip. The customer must then contact us within 48 hours with supporting photos. This report does not affect legal warranties but facilitates claims with the carrier.
Warranties
Our products benefit from legal warranties: warranty of conformity (articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the Consumer Code) and warranty against hidden defects (articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code). If a product is defective, the customer can request its replacement, repair, or refund depending on the case. Any request must be made to our customer service.
Liability
G. Detou cannot be held responsible for indirect damages, loss of data, loss of revenue, or any claim resulting from improper use of the product. Our liability is limited to the order amount, except in cases of gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the customer agrees to contact our customer service to seek an amicable solution. Failing this, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction. A European online dispute resolution platform is accessible at the following address:
Protection of Minors
The sale of certain products may be subject to age restrictions. For orders including such products, identity and age verification may be required. Delivery of these products will be made exclusively to the named customer upon presentation of a valid ID.
Customer Reviews
Reviews posted on our site or via third-party platforms may be used for promotional purposes. By submitting a review, the customer authorizes G. Detou to publish, modify, and exploit this review, including the first name and first initial of the surname. Discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal remarks will be moderated without notice. The customer can request the deletion of their reviews at any time by contacting us.
